Brosnan successfully negotiated the construction of the 14,000 square metre industrial offices and warehouse on Roscommon Road, Wiri and was appointed the project by the Hugh Green Group.
Part of this project included Brosnan managing the design and build of the warehouse’s post-tension floor. The post-tension floor was one of the most important aspects of this project and as a multiple stakeholder project, working with potential tenants as well as our client, it was important for Brosnan to gain a solid understanding of the requirements specific to each party and to provide a solution that would effectively meet the needs of all involved.
During the construction process, an international tenant (Jamestrong Packaging) was secured by HGL and Brosnan was required to manage some significant and complex changes to the project scope.
This involved preparing budget estimates and programs for the proposed changes from concept drawings and design briefs. We also provided expert advice on material selection, construction details and what the design team needed to focus on in order to minimise the impact of the proposed changes on the completion due date.
We are proud that our strong ability to navigate challenges and offer flexible solutions has met the evolved requirements of the client and tenants and has kept this major project on-track for a timely completion.
