Managing Director
Phil founded Brosnan Construction in 2010 and has led the company from strength to strength and can boast a team offering expertise, efficiency and integrity.
Phil’s career in construction spans 30 years, beginning as an apprentice carpenter in Dunedin in 1985. Working with the same company for 25 years, he worked his way steadily through project management, divisional management and then, in 2004, he moved north to manage the company’s Auckland business.
In his role as Managing Director, Phil leads both the Auckland and South Island businesses of Brosnan Construction, overseeing projects undertaken by both branches; his leadership and ongoing input is integral to the project teams success.
Professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm are three key traits that have contributed to Phil’s success and he brings each of them to bear in every aspect of his varied role as Managing Director. His overriding commitment is to client success and long-term relationships, which ensures the very best outcomes.

Canterbury Director and Construction Manager
Craig has over 20 years experience in the construction industry, across a diverse range of roles, including draftsman, independent contractor, site manager, design manager, project manager and, more recently, project director.
He started his career in Dunedin as an apprentice carpenter, but then went on to refocus his energy on education, resulting in a National Diploma in Architectural Technology and a New Zealand Certificate in Quantity Surveying.
Craig’s experience also includes major projects in London, Australia and throughout New Zealand, which led him to win the NZIOB Project Manager of the Year Award.
Craig’s singular focus and determination to deliver only the best results guarantees client success.

Regional Manager, Auckland
Tasked with leading and developing our team of quantity surveyors and estimators, Geoff ensures best practice principles are being used to achieve operational excellence and professional standards of customer service are maintained. He ensures that a positive and cooperative attitude towards clients and sub-contractors is upheld and that cost effective services are delivered across all projects.
Geoff has over 12 years construction industry experience. He began his career by completing dual apprenticeships and corresponding National Certificates in Timber Machining, Timber Joinery and Cabinetry. Geoff excelled at this level and achieved the top National Award for his craftsmanship as an apprentice joiner over two consecutive years.
Geoff applies his extensive knowledge and fine attention to detail to all aspects of his role. This attitude is underlined by National Diplomas in both Quantity Surveying and Construction Management, coupled with a wide range of commercial construction experience in estimating, quantity surveying and project management both at main contractor and subcontract level. Geoff is a Licensed Building Practitioner and is an active member of the NZIQS, NZIOB, & NZSCL.
Geoff believes that the more you learn, the more you realise how little you know. For this very reason Geoff is committed to achieving a Bachelor of Construction by the end of 2016 and is currently exploring academic options for his continued personal development in 2017.

Regional Manager, Canterbury
With over 10 years of wide-ranging experience in the construction industry and a Batchelor in Construction Management, Tim dedicates 100% to his contribution to each project which is evident in the project outcome. The diversity of knowledge he has gained throughout his career has shaped him to be a vigilant regional manager with the ability to maintain crucial relationships and limit defects within the most challenging environments.
Tim's experience varies from new builds, remediation projects, seismic upgrades and infrastructure projects within aged care, residential, public sector and high value industrial sectors of construction making him a vital affiliate to any team.

Regional Manager, Queenstown
Robin brings his almost 10 years' construction industry experience from across a wide range of sectors. His broad experience encompasses project management and project engineering, as applied across apartment, healthcare and commercial facilities in new build, refurbishments and seismic strengthening works.
Robin has a clear perspective of the big picture whist maintaining a focus on quality and a right first time approach to construction. This attribute is evident in Robin's planning, tracking and overall management of a project from inception to completion.
A key attribution of Robin's in his ability to convert complex construction requirements into simple understandable solutions, further translating these solutions into an easy step by step construction methodology and program.
Robin's well- rounded professional and technical attributes are complemented by his care and empathy for all stakeholders, and the safety of the project delivery team.
