The Oak Shores apartments is a large-scale remediation project with site access constraints. A phased programme of works is being developed whereby Brosnan will be undertaking construction activities within a live and sensitive residential environment.
The contractor engagement approach incorporates an ECI process upon which to establish a negotiated construction contract. Brosnan was selected as the preferred contractor to work with the Design Team during the design development and consenting stages, providing advice on the buildability of details, consider options to reduce risk and to assist in achieving a cost-effective solution. Pricing of the works is being undertaken via an open book process.
Brosnan’s significant technical expertise and experience in external refurbishment work has been coupled with our learnings in accurate cost forecasting and a collaborative project management culture.
Our team is working with a likeminded client and consultant to generate certainty of cost, programme and quality. The project is progressing well with the first cut of the price now in its final stages.
Additionally, based on our performance to date, the Client has also initiated discussions to undertake a concurrent ECI process for the adjoining $7m Oak Club remediation project.
